We financially supported dispatch of the annual train called "VLAK 70. KŽD FPEDAS UNIZA", which is celebrating its 70th anniversary this year. On this occasion, for its partners, graduates, but also the general public, the University organized an annual train ride called the "70th KŽD FPEDAS UNIZA TRAIN". The train was dispatched under the auspices of the rector of the Czech Technical University in Prague and the rector of the University of Žilina in Žilina on the route Prague – Pardubice – Olomouc – Brno – Bratislava – Zvolen – Košice – Žilina. The capstone of the whole event was the gala evening in the beautiful premises of the New Synagogue Žilina.
